A Moment of Pride for Karnataka

Our Karnataka representatives played key roles in their respective teams and delivered match-winning performances:

  • Shiva Prasad – Leading from the front, Shiva captained India A in 2 of the 3 matches and displayed remarkable batting skills. His consistency with the bat earned him two brilliant half-centuries, setting the tone for the team’s success.

  • Harees – A true all-rounder for India B, Harees contributed both with the bat and the ball, claiming 3 crucial wickets and scoring valuable runs, proving his importance in every match.

  • Sashi – A dependable bowler for India B, Sashi took 2 wickets across the series and bowled with discipline, putting consistent pressure on the opposition.

  • Praveen – Matching Sashi’s performance, Praveen also claimed 2 wickets in 3 matches, playing a vital role in the bowling attack of India B.

  • Sagar Lamani – The safe pair of gloves for India A, Sagar’s skills behind the stumps ensured the team’s bowling efforts were well-supported. His sharp wicket-keeping and quick reflexes were key to several dismissals.

A Word of Appreciation for the Organizers

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and vision of the Wheelchair Cricket India (WCI) and the Tamil Nadu Wheelchair Cricket Association. The event was flawlessly organized, offering players the facilities and respect they truly deserve.

  • Top-Notch Facilities – From well-prepared pitches to accessible venues, every aspect was thoughtfully arranged.

  • Travel Reimbursement – The organizers ensured no player faced financial burden to participate.

  • Cash Prizes – Recognizing and rewarding performance, boosting morale for all teams.

  • Amazing Hospitality – Warm, caring, and professional treatment made players feel at home while competing at the highest level.
