Divyaang Myithri Sports Academy brings yet another successful event held in Mangalore against Maharashtra on 8th Dec 2019 at Sahyadri College of Engineering, Organized by St.Aloysius college and Sahodaya.
Organizers were quite impressive with the great hospitality of the players setting examples by providing international standard Cricket Ground and hotels.
The Match course was an only T20 game but none the less it was an exciting contest between Both the teams and it happened to be one of the best games in wheelchair cricket history.
Highlights of the Match: winning the toss Karnataka opted to bowl and Maharashtra came onto to bat and had a fifty run partnership between the openers and debutant Yatheesh gave a breakthrough by taking wicket of set batsmen Vishwanath(48 Runs) and later the runs started drying but again a cameo from Santhosh(36 Runs) boosted their scoreboard to a competitive 149.
Later came the Karnataka openers with responsibility on their shoulders to build a solid partnership and they were successful in doing it as Tippeswamy the opener scored Karnataka’s highest individual score of 94 Runs in just 52 Balls partnered by another debutant Vijay to sealed the victory in style as Karnataka won the match with 5 Overs to spare and 8 Wickets in hand.

Sagar too made his debut match as a Captain and yet another series victory for Karnataka Wheelchair Cricket team.
The event saw huge media support featuring in Udavani, Indian Express, and Mangaluru Times.
This brings to an end of another grand and successful event count in the bag of Divyaang Myithri Sports Academy and the team.
